Books for Bright Futures is a Junior League of Washington program that puts new books in the hands of children who might not otherwise have access to them. Books are given to Junior League community placements and partners throughout the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.

All you need do is donate $5 for each bookplate you want to sponsor, and Books for Bright Futures will use the money raised to buy books and ensure they get into the hands of children who need them. 

Before each book is donated, a bookplate sticker is placed in the book noting the name of the donor.  You can purchase a bookplate in anyone's name -- your own, a loved one, another child, or maybe the person who taught you the joy of reading!

Online bookplate purchases require a minimum purchase of $25 (5 bookplates at $5 each).  The Quantity of 1 in the shopping cart above is for 1 set of 5 bookplates for a total cost of $25.  PLEASE NOTE that any number less than 5 entered at quantity above will result in being charged $25 FOR EACH set.  Once you enter 5 or more, bookplates will be charged at the unit cost of $5 per bookplate.  If your cart shows more than you intended to purchase simply click back to this page and change the quantity.
