Junior League of Washington Announces Annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast

Olympian Dominique Dawes, others to speak at event highlighting women who are building change within their communities

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 11, 2023 – The Junior League of Washington (JLW), a non-profit organization of over 2,300 women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training, today announced that the Fall 2023 Women’s Leadership Breakfast will take place at 8:00 AM on October 20, 2023, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Taking place for the 7th time, this event spotlights women who have blazed new trails in their fields while also inspiring and challenging attendees to go towards the greatest needs in their community and embrace fresh opportunities to grow their impact. Three-time Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes will deliver the keynote address, followed by a panel of women leaders who have broken barriers, charted their own course, and led fearlessly while amplifying the voices and stories of other young girls and women.  while amplifying the voices and stories of other young girls and women. In addition to hearing from Ms. Dawes and other panelists, the Women’s Leadership Breakfast serves as an opportunity for women around the community to learn from and connect with female leaders, mentors, and advocates from across the greater Washington, D.C. area who are building change within their communities.
