Donation and Drop-Off Information

We are grateful for the ongoing support of all League members and our friends in the community who make Tossed & Found possible through their donations of gently used goods. The high quality of goods available at Tossed & Found is what makes the sale so meaningful for shoppers. When deciding what to donate, please consider whether you would feel comfortable giving this item to a close friend. Items that are torn, dirty, covered in pet hair, or broken should not be included.

DROP-OFF SCHEDULE

Donations will only be accepted at the sale site, 2100-B Crystal Dr, Arlington, VA 22202 (inside Crystal City Shops at 2100).  Please click here for walking directions from the Metro and here for driving directions.

Please note that we will only accept donations at the following dates and times:

Saturday, January 27, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunday, January 28, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 31, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, February 3, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunday, February 4, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, February 7, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, February 10, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunday, February 11, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, February 17, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, please check the JLW Member Exchange on Facebook or email tossedandfound@jlw.org to confirm the drop-off is still taking place.

DONATION GUIDELINES

 

Items that cannot be donated to Tossed & Found because they are torn or stained may be recycled elsewhere. We encourage you to recycle these items at a textile recycling bin or your local MOM’s Organic Market

Furniture Donations/Mighty Movers

Please reach out to us if you would like to donate large furniture. If you have large furniture donations, you may request pick up through Tossed & Found’s Mighty Movers service. Mighty Mover furniture pick ups will take place Sunday, February 18 and Saturday, February 24. Please submit your request via Smartsheet by February 10. Any questions may be emailed to tfmightymovers@gmail.com.  If approved, you can bring the furniture to the sale site or we will coordinate a pick-up.
