Shipping and Returns

1.  Shipping: 

The Junior League of Washington (JLW) offers ground shipping - shipped via UPS 1-5 business days – within the 48 contiguous states.  Rates are as follows:

Orders totaling 0-$49.99:  $4.99

Orders totaling $50 - $99.99:  $5.99

Orders totaling $100 - $149.99:  $6.99

Orders totaling $150 and above:  $7.99

2.  Sales tax:

Orders delivered within the District of Columbia are assessed sales tax of 5.75%.  Orders delivered outside the District of Columbia are not assessed any sales tax. 

3.  Refunds:

  • We will not refund or exchange personalized products once the order is placed. 

  • We will not refund tickets or contributions once the order or contribution is placed. 

  • For all other purchases, you must request a refund within 15 calendar days of placing the order.  If the goods were shipped prior to this 15-day period, refunds are considered only upon satisfactory return of the products shipped.  In such cases, you are responsible for return shipping costs; we recommend using a carrier that provides proof of delivery.  The JLW cannot issue a refund on returns of damaged goods or returns which cannot be confirmed as delivered to and received by the JLW.

To request a refund, please email us at office@jlw.org.  Refunds are made by credit to the charge card used for the original payment, or by check for payments made by check, money order, or cash.
